Triangle Credit Union offers a variety of savings products to meet our members' many savings needs. Whether you are saving for a child's education, a vacation, a major purchase or for retirement, TCU has a plan designed to meet your needs. And your funds are insured up to $100,000 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). Deposits can be made in person, by mail, ATM, or payroll deduction. Withdrawals are permitted anytime. Share Accounts are the Credit Union's primary savings accounts. This account establishes your membership with TCU. Christmas and Vacation clubs encourage members to save year round for specific spending. The money accumulated in the Christmas club is automatically transferred to your checking or share savings account in early November each year. Your Vacation Club deposits are available whenever you need them. Share Certificates are time accounts based on the length of maturity and amount of funds. We have a variety of certificate terms to suit your needs. IRAs are Individual Retirement Accounts, a long-term savings plan with special tax advantages. TCU offers both fixed rate certificate IRAs and an accumulative savings IRA. A quarterly statement listing all activity - deposits, withdrawals and dividends - is mailed to all members.

24 Hour ANYTIME LINE: With Triangle Credit Union's ANYTIME LINE, you can transfer money, check your balances, get the last five checking transactions, inquire about a specific check, or request a check be sent to you from your regular share savings account by calling our 24-hour voice response line. With your account number, personal identification number (PIN) and a touch tone phone, you have 24-hour access to your account.
Federal law states, in accordance with the USA PATRIOT Act, all financial institutions are required to obtain, verify and record information that identifies every person opening or signing on a new account. This includes, but is not restricted to, a member, joint member, parent, guardian, custodian, organization, authorized user and power of attorney. When opening a new account with TCU, all interested parties will need to present a picture form of identification. Failure to present this information will stop of delay the account opening process. TCU's STAR ATM card is your key to 24-hour self-service banking. You can make deposits, withdrawals, and transfer between accounts at anytime. TCU is a member of Alliance One, a nation-side group of select-surcharge ATMs. By using one of the convenient ATMs in 38 states, Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia, you can access your money without being charged a foreign ATM fee.
Your MasterMoney Debit Card will give you a faster and more convenient way to use your checking account without writing a check. You can use your debit card anywhere MasterCard is accepted. Your debit card also performs all the functions of an ATM card. If you have a checking account, you can apply for a STAR or MasterMoney Card.
TCU offers the convenience of VISA. Accepted worldwide, VISA offers convenient buying and borrowing power and the opportunity to spread payments over an extended period. VISA cardholders can use their VISA Cards to pay for purchases at millions of places that accept VISA Credit Cards, and obtain cash at more than 800,000 VISA ATMs in the U.S. and 144 countries around the world. Payroll deduction is available to any member whose company participates with Triangle Credit Union in the payroll deduction plan. Here's how it works: You decide what amount you should save each payday. Payroll deduction can put money into your share (savings), share draft (checking), and Christmas or Vacation Club accounts. Money can be designated for your Credit Union loan payments. You can even allocate money to be deposited into a spouse or child's account. There's never a worry about a late loan payment with payroll deduction.
Direct deposit is simply a way of having payments you normally receive by a check sent directly to Triangle Credit Union, where they automatically are deposited into the account of your choice. Just about any type of payment you receive on a regular basis can be directly deposited with us:
